DC Link Voltage Enhancement in DC Microgrid Using PV Based High Gain Converter with Cascaded Fuzzy Logic Controller

Renewable-based sources can be interconnected through power electronic converters and connected with local loads energy storage devices to form a microgrid. Nowadays, DC microgrids are gaining more popularity due their higher efficiency reliability as compared AC microgrid systems. The Microgrid has electronics between the renewable-based sources. controlled an efficient control algorithm for maintaining stable bus voltage in under various operating modes is challenging task researchers. With aim address above-mentioned issues, this study focuses on link enhancement of system consisting PV, DFIG-based wind conversion (WECS), battery Energy Storage System (ESS). To elevate PV output minimize oscillations voltage, high-gain Luo converter Cascaded Fuzzy Logic Controller (CFLC) proposed. Droop virtual inertia damping proposed WECS provide support. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based droop utilised regulate ESS’s State Charge (SOC). effectiveness its algorithms been analysed using MATLAB/Simulink experimentally validated prototype model FPGA Spartan 6E controllers.
